Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Waiter at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo, your role will be pivotal in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering attentive, personalized, and seamless service in line with the resort’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Maximize Sales & Profitability:
Use your knowledge of food and beverage offerings to upsell and suggest enhancements, increasing revenue while enhancing guest satisfaction. -
Deliver Five-Star Service:
Provide attentive and courteous service in accordance with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. Maintain an approachable, friendly demeanor to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued. -
Menu Presentation:
Present the menu clearly and confidently, offering insightful descriptions and recommendations for food and beverage pairings. -
Service Readiness:
Prepare the outlet before each service session, ensuring that it is well-stocked, clean, and welcoming. Adhere to all standard operating procedures to guarantee consistency. -
Guest Experience:
Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and ensure a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience in all outlets, from casual beachside settings to fine dining. -
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues from the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth communication and timely service, maintaining the flow and energy of the restaurant environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Previous Experience in Luxury Resorts:
Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in high-end island resorts, is essential to ensure a smooth transition into the Raffles standard of operations. -
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in both Dhivehi and English is required to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues. -
Adaptability to Island Life:
You should be comfortable with remote living, with a strong ability to adapt to the unique rhythms of island operations. -
Detail-Oriented Approach:
An eye for detail and a commitment to excellence are vital in creating consistent and memorable guest experiences. -
Flexibility in Scheduling:
You must be open to working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the operational needs of the resort. -
Physical Endurance:
As this role involves long hours, including outdoor work in a tropical climate, physical fitness and resilience are important.
