Position: Reservation Executive

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Reservation Executive to help maintain the smooth operation of our front office and guest services. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that every guest who stays at Noku Maldives experiences a seamless and unforgettable journey from the moment they make their booking. As a Reservation Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospective guests and play an integral role in creating lasting impressions.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Reservation Executive at Noku Maldives, you will have a variety of responsibilities to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. Some of your primary duties will include:

  1. Managing Reservations:

    • Respond to all reservation inquiries promptly and professionally, via email, phone, or other communication channels.

    • Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all guest preferences, requirements, and special requests are noted and met.

    • Update reservation systems regularly, ensuring that room availability, pricing, and rates are accurately reflected.

  2. Guest Interaction and Service:

    • Provide guests with detailed information regarding resort facilities, available rooms, services, and special promotions.

    • Assist with pre-arrival requests, including transportation arrangements, special occasions, and any bespoke guest services.

    • Work closely with the front office and guest services teams to ensure that all guest needs are met before, during, and after their stay.

  3. Upselling and Promotions:

    • Proactively upsell resort packages, upgrades, and special offers to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.

    • Promote seasonal offers, special events, and exclusive deals to potential guests.

  4. Organizational Tasks:

    • Manage reservation logs and guest profiles to ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

    • Handle guest cancellations, no-shows, and special requests in line with the resort's policies.

    • Assist with the coordination of group bookings, ensuring that all logistics are managed efficiently.

  5. Problem-Solving:

    • Address and resolve any reservation-related issues or discrepancies promptly, ensuring that guests' concerns are handled professionally and to their satisfaction.

    • Manage guest complaints related to reservations and work with other departments to find effective solutions.

  6. Collaboration with Other Departments:

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote special offers and update the resort’s booking channels.

    • Coordinate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.


Key Requirements and Skills:

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following skills, qualities, and experience:

  1. Experience:

    • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting.

    • Previous experience in reservations, front desk, or guest services is highly desirable.

  2. Language Skills:

    • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.

    • Proficiency in an additional language, such as Russian, French, German, or Arabic, will be an added advantage and will help you connect with a wider range of international guests.

  3. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues to ensure that every guest receives exceptional service.

    • Strong writing skills are also important, as you will be handling reservations via email and other written communications.
