Position Available: Guest Relations Officer

As part of our dedication to providing warm, intuitive, and highly personalized service, we are seeking a Guest Relations Officer to join our Front Office team.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for luxury hospitality, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine desire to ensure each guest enjoys a flawless experience from arrival to departure.


What You Will Be Doing:

In this important frontline role, you will act as the face and voice of Raffles Maldives, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, understood, and cared for. You will:

  • Deliver seamless and personalized service in every guest interaction, reflecting the legendary standards of the Raffles brand.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with guests to anticipate their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout their stay.

  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism, discretion, and care, ensuring prompt resolutions and personalized responses.

  • Update and maintain guest profiles, preferences, and stay history in the resort’s systems to enable bespoke service delivery.

  • Serve as a resort concierge and call center agent, assisting with reservations, island information, special requests, and travel arrangements.

  • Coordinate domestic flight and boat transfer arrangements, ensuring that all logistical details are efficiently and accurately handled.

  • Support Front Office administrators with day-to-day operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and front desk guest engagement.

  • Actively communicate with all departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated guest experience from start to finish.


Your Experience and Skills Include:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in guest relations or front office roles within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment is required.

  • Ability to thrive in a remote island setting, where adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude are key to success.

  • Fluency in English and Dhivehi is essential. Additional language skills are a strong advantage.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations gracefully.

  • High attention to detail and motivation to consistently deliver impeccable service.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task effectively, and remain calm in high-stress situations.

  • Strong computer literacy, with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Opera Property Management System (PMS).
