📌 Role Overview
As the Finance Officer – Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s receivables. You’ll ensure timely billing, accurate financial reporting, and follow-up on outstanding balances. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the resort, and it offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive and professional team.
📋 Key Responsibilities

Accurately prepare and issue invoices to guests, tour operators, and third-party vendors.

Monitor accounts receivable ledger to ensure payments are up to date.

Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.

Reconcile payments received and accurately allocate them to the appropriate accounts.

Work closely with the front office and reservations teams to verify billing information.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Prepare regular aging reports and escalate overdue accounts.

Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all transactions.

Provide support for audits and assist with financial reporting as needed.
✅ Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and receivables management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, SUN, or QuickBooks.
