Available Position: F&B Service Waiter (Locals)
We are looking for an F&B Service Waiter to join our front-line team. This is a key role in ensuring that our guests have a flawless dining experience throughout their stay at Emerald Faarufushi. As a waiter, you will be the face of our exceptional service and will play a pivotal part in delivering memorable dining experiences for every guest.
Primary Responsibilities:

Guest Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to our guests by ensuring their dining needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your attention to detail will guarantee that guests’ requests are handled with professionalism, creating memorable dining experiences.

Menu Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of the resort’s menu, including food and beverage offerings, and be able to provide detailed explanations to guests when required.

Order Taking and Delivery: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and ensure that orders are delivered to their table in a timely manner, maintaining our standards of service.

Up-selling and Suggesting Pairings: You will actively suggest additional food or beverage items and pairings, promoting premium offerings when appropriate, enhancing the guest’s overall experience.

Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service, including food delivery, beverage preparation, and resolving guest issues promptly.

Cleaning and Setup: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area, including clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring that the service environment is always welcoming and spotless.

Safety and Hygiene Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are followed. This includes food safety protocols and maintaining personal hygiene.
Candidate Qualifications:
To be considered for the F&B Service Waiter position, the following criteria should be met:

Fluency in English: Excellent command of both written and spoken English is required to communicate effectively with international guests.

Knowledge of LOA Standards: Familiarity with the Leading Hotels of the World (LOA) standards will be an added advantage.

Multi-tasking Ability: Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, high-pressure environment, ensuring that all guest needs are met with efficiency and care.

Positive "Can-Do" Attitude: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks, with a strong focus on providing the best guest experience.
