Job Overview: Revenue & Reservations Manager
As the Revenue & Reservations Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing revenue, maximizing occupancy, and ensuring a seamless reservation experience for our guests. You will oversee revenue management strategies, analyze market trends, and implement pricing models that enhance profitability while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
This role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional who excels in data analysis, strategic planning, and online distribution management. Your expertise will contribute directly to the resort’s success by ensuring that our pricing strategies remain competitive and aligned with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize Hotel Occupancy & Revenue: Implement effective revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and increase average daily rates.
- Online Distribution Management: Oversee all online travel agency (OTA) platforms, including AccorHotels.com, to ensure optimal pricing, visibility, and rankings.
- Market Analysis & Pricing Strategy: Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and guest booking patterns to develop and adjust pricing strategies.
- Rate Competitiveness: Continuously track and adjust rates to maintain a competitive edge in the luxury hospitality market.
- Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Oversight: Manage digital displays, promotions, and visibility across OTAs, travel platforms, and metasearch engines to drive direct bookings.
- Sales & Upselling: Utilize strategic sales techniques to increase bookings, upsell premium accommodations, and enhance guest experiences.
- Reservation Process Management: Ensure a smooth and efficient reservations process, maintaining high standards in guest communication and response times.
- Performance Reporting: Generate detailed reports on occupancy, revenue, and booking trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Guest Satisfaction & Brand Representation: Align all revenue and reservation activities with Raffles brand standards to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
Required Skills & Experience
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Previous experience in revenue management, reservations, or sales within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and guide a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Technical proficiency, including expertise in MS Office, Opera PMS, and online distribution platforms.
- Experience managing OTAs and eCommerce platforms, ensuring maximum online visibility and profitability.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends, booking patterns, and revenue performance.
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to provide exceptional service and handle guest inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work in a remote location, embracing the unique island lifestyle of the Maldives.
