Position Available: Night Auditor - Maldivian
We are looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role at a luxury five-star resort and will be a skilled professional who can maintain operational integrity during the night shift. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and financial transactions, while also providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Night Audit and Financial Control: You will be responsible for performing night audits, ensuring accurate posting of charges, and balancing the daily revenue reports for all departments. Your work will ensure the resort’s financial transactions are aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Guest Services: As the first point of contact during the night shift, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests’ requests are handled promptly and professionally. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Record Keeping: You will ensure that all necessary reports, including financial statements, transaction logs, and guest records, are updated and filed correctly, adhering to both legal and resort standards.
- Multitasking and Efficiency: You will handle a wide range of administrative tasks, including cashiering, guest correspondence, and ensuring that all department reports are completed by the end of your shift. You will need to balance competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with other departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Collaboration with the accounting department is key to ensuring accurate record-keeping and financial reporting.
- Security Monitoring: You will monitor the security of the resort during the night, ensuring that all procedures are followed to guarantee the safety and well-being of both guests and staff.
Candidate Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent, or in a similar role in a luxury five-star resort or hotel.
- Education: A Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with experience and skills will also be considered.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential in this role, as you will be handling financial transactions and maintaining vital records for the resort.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are required, as you will need to multitask and prioritize various responsibilities during your shift.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as you will be interacting with guests and colleagues to resolve issues and provide a superior experience.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office programs is essential. Familiarity with accounting systems and night audit processes will be a significant advantage.
- Maldivian National: Applicants must be Maldivian nationals.
