Key Responsibilities

As a Marine Biologist Intern, you will:

  • Assist with coral propagation and reef restoration projects, helping to maintain and rehabilitate our local coral reefs.

  • Support educational programs for guests, including guided snorkeling tours and presentations on marine conservation.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Previous experience in marine research, conservation, or a related field (internships, university projects, or volunteer work are acceptable).
Familiarity with fieldwork methods and data collection, including coral propagation, fish identification, and reef monitoring.
Open Water Scuba Diver certification (or higher) is required, as underwater research and surveys will be a key part of the role.
Currently pursuing a degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
Passion for marine conservation and sustainable tourism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with resort guests, team members, and researchers.
A positive, CAN-DO attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
