Kitchen & Laundry Technician
The Kitchen & Laundry Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen and laundry equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This role requires technical expertise in maintaining various equipment, including gas and electrical appliances, and a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition at all times.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with electrical, gas, and plumbing systems related to kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Handle the repair and replacement of malfunctioning equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Follow safety standards and regulatory requirements related to kitchen and laundry systems.
- Lift and move heavy equipment, including motors and hotplates, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Technical certification in related fields (preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical, gas, and plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment as required.
- A positive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Plumber
The Plumber will be responsible for maintaining all plumbing systems within the resort, including pool maintenance, pipe installations, leak repairs, and servicing grease traps and STP pits. This role requires an individual who can work independently and handle maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on plumbing systems, including leak repairs and drainage systems.
- Service grease traps and STP pits to ensure smooth operation.
- Install pipes (PPR) and maintain the resort's pool plumbing system.
- Read and interpret technical drawings for plumbing installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes of practice.
- Regularly inspect plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns.
Qualifications:
- Experience in plumbing maintenance, including STP pit servicing, grease trap cleaning, and pipe installations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand plumbing diagrams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Previous experience in the Maldives is a plus.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
Engineering Attendant
The Engineering Attendant is responsible for assisting the engineering team in maintaining the resort’s electrical, plumbing, painting, and air conditioning systems. This position requires someone with general knowledge of various maintenance tasks and a focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, painting, and AC systems.
- Perform general troubleshooting and minor repairs on various resort systems.
- Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist in managing the maintenance team and ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and AC systems.
- Experience in general troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Physically fit for manual tasks and capable of lifting heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in the Maldives or in luxury resort settings is an advantage.
