Position: Human Resource Cum Learning & Development Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Cum Learning & Development Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of HR functions at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. This role will primarily focus on training and development, leadership skills, and improving HR processes to ensure that the resort’s workforce is not only compliant with the latest regulations but also continuously evolving to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Human Resource Management:

Oversee day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention.

Ensure compliance with Maldives labor laws and HR best practices.

Maintain employee records, handle payroll, and ensure proper administration of employee benefits.

Address employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and provide HR solutions that meet business requirements.

Learning & Development:

Develop and implement training programs aimed at improving the skills of employees at all levels.

Facilitate leadership development programs to ensure a steady pipeline of future leaders within the resort.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to improve learning outcomes.

Conduct regular assessments to determine the training needs of employees and create personalized development plans.

Support and promote continuous professional development by providing employees with resources to grow in their careers.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience and Education:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Strong training & development skills and a proven ability to implement effective learning strategies.

Expertise in learning management systems and instructional design to deliver engaging and effective training programs.

In-depth knowledge of Maldives labor laws, HR best practices, and local employment regulations.
