Six Senses Maldives is currently looking for a passionate Waiter to join the team at its luxury resort in the Maldives. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to sustainability and wellness.
As a Waiter, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Whether working in one of our beachfront restaurants, private dining experiences, or poolside, you will be the face of Six Senses Maldives, providing personalized service with a smile.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring all their dining needs are met.
- Take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with care and attention, ensuring presentation is to the highest standard.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing personalized recommendations when appropriate.
- Set up and break down dining areas, including tables and chairs, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and any special offers to inform guests and enhance their experience.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across all dining areas.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support the rest of the restaurant team in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Candidate Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel, ideally within the Maldives or in a five-star hospitality setting.
- Ability to handle a busy operation and multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact confidently with international guests and colleagues.
- A keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
