Available Job Position: Bartender
We are currently seeking a Bartender to join our team at Baglioni Resort Maldives. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service. As a Bartender at Baglioni Resort, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of innovative and classic cocktails and providing guests with an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Bartender, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of our food and beverage services. Your duties will include:
- Creating a Variety of Cocktails: Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, including signature drinks, classic cocktails, and guests’ special requests.
- Delivering Exceptional Service: Engage with guests to provide excellent service, creating memorable experiences that reflect our resort’s high standards of hospitality.
- Knowledge of Drinks: Have an in-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and liquor brands to provide the best service and suggest drinks that complement guests' preferences.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with guests, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Adherence to Standards: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the bar area, including following food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of bar inventory, ensuring that the necessary stock levels are maintained, and notify management of any shortages.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members in the F&B department to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Upselling and Promotions: Promote resort events, specials, and new products to guests, ensuring they have the best possible experience while staying with us.
- Training and Development: Continuously improve your skills through on-the-job training and by keeping up with the latest trends in the cocktail industry.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 Years Experience: At least two years of experience in a bartending role, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts. Previous experience in the Maldives is a plus but not mandatory.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere.
- In-Depth Knowledge of Cocktails and Spirits: Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and various liquor brands to ensure quality drinks and guest satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with guests and team members.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure that drinks are prepared and served according to Baglioni’s luxury standards.
- Food Safety and Hygiene Standards: Must adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest requests with a positive and professional attitude.
