Key Responsibilities:
As a Waiter, your role is essential in ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing an Exceptional Guest Experience: Welcome and serve guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring that every interaction is engaging and memorable.
- Expert Menu Knowledge: Present menus, explain dishes, and make recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary needs, and wine pairings.
- Maximizing Sales and Profitability: Utilize suggestive selling and up-selling techniques to enhance the dining experience while increasing revenue.
- Setting Up and Maintaining the Outlet: Prepare the dining area before service, ensuring all tables, cutlery, and glassware meet the highest standards.
- Adhering to Service Standards: Follow the resort’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain impeccable hygiene and presentation at all times.
- Handling Guest Requests and Feedback: Respond promptly to guest needs, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any concerns in a professional manner.
- Coordinating with the Kitchen and Bar Teams: Work seamlessly with chefs and bartenders to ensure efficient food and beverage service.

✔️ Remote Work Readiness: Comfortable working in a remote island setting, adapting to island life and resort operations.
✔️ Multilingual Skills: Fluency in English and Dhivehi is essential; additional language skills are an advantage.
✔️ Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds with professionalism and warmth.
✔️ Flexible & Adaptable: Willingness to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the resort’s operational needs.
✔️ Extensive Food & Beverage Knowledge: Understanding of fine dining etiquette, wine pairings, and international cuisine trends.
