Job Position: Waiter – F&B Services
As a Waiter in the F&B Services department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to guests in various dining settings throughout the resort. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service Excellence: You will be the face of the resort’s dining services, providing attentive and personalized service to guests at all times. Whether serving meals, drinks, or ensuring that guests have a seamless dining experience, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering top-tier service.
- Order Taking and Delivery: Accurately taking food and beverage orders and delivering them to guests promptly, ensuring satisfaction with each course served.
- Knowledge of Menu and Offerings: You will be well-versed in the resort’s menu, including daily specials, and have a thorough understanding of the food and beverage offerings, allowing you to assist guests with inquiries and recommend items based on their preferences.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring that all tables are clean, organized, and set up correctly before and after serving. You will also be responsible for ensuring cleanliness in dining areas, including floor areas, utensils, and glassware.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Actively participating in upselling food and beverage items to enhance guest satisfaction and boost sales.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with fellow waiters, chefs, and other resort staff to ensure that the service runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Grooming & Attitude: We value candidates who have impeccable grooming standards and a positive, professional attitude. As a representative of the resort’s hospitality, it’s essential to exhibit the highest standards in appearance and behavior.
- Eagerness to Learn & Deliver: A strong desire to learn and grow within the role and the hospitality industry. We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly and consistently provide excellent service.
- Education & Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, resort, or F&B setting is highly advantageous.
- Skills & Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. You should have a basic understanding of food and beverage service standards, with the ability to recommend dishes and suggest appropriate pairings.
- Additional Qualifications: Any relevant qualifications in food and beverage service, hospitality, or customer service are a plus. Additional training in wine knowledge or cocktail preparation would also be beneficial.
