We are currently seeking talented individuals for the following positions at Oaga Art Resort:
Tuckshop Attendant
As a Tuckshop Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized, efficient, and welcoming environment in our tuckshop. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring the tuckshop is fully stocked with food, beverages, and essentials for guests.
- Offering personalized assistance to guests, recommending products, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management.
- Handling cash transactions and ensuring proper handling of payments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the tuckshop at all times.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
IT Assistant
As an IT Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the resort’s technology infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to staff and guests, ensuring all systems and devices are functioning smoothly.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Monitoring and maintaining the resort's network, ensuring strong internet connectivity and security protocols.
- Assisting with IT-related projects and implementing technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends and making recommendations to improve services.
- Assisting with website and online booking system management.
Bartender
Our Bartender will be responsible for delivering top-notch beverage service and ensuring guests enjoy a premium drinking experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with the resort’s standards.
- Engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their needs are met.
- Keeping the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as necessary.
- Ensuring that alcohol is served responsibly and in compliance with all resort policies.
- Handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends in cocktails and beverage service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for any of the above positions, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position at a resort in the Maldives.
- Relevant technical qualifications for the IT Assistant and Bartender positions.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a passion for providing excellent service.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- An artless, vibrant, and talented personality that aligns with the artistic and dynamic culture of the resort.
