Revenue and E-Commerce Manager: Key Responsibilities
As the Revenue and E-Commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the resort's revenue growth, optimizing online sales channels, and ensuring the best possible guest experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Optimizing Pricing Strategies and Maximizing Profitability:
You will be responsible for formulating and executing pricing strategies that optimize revenue across all areas of the resort, including rooms, food and beverage (F&B), and activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that pricing is competitive while maximizing profitability.
2. Managing Online Sales Channels:
A key part of your role will be to manage and optimize all online sales channels. You will oversee the resort's website, online travel agencies (OTAs), and metasearch platforms to drive direct bookings. By focusing on improving the online visibility of Oaga Art Resort, you will help increase direct sales and reduce reliance on third-party platforms.
3. Digital Campaign Management:
Collaborating closely with the Marketing and PR team, you will be responsible for overseeing digital campaigns, including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media efforts. Your goal will be to boost online visibility, increase conversions, and enhance the resort's presence in the competitive online travel market.
4. Market Analysis and Performance Optimization:
You will analyze booking patterns, customer behavior, and market data to make informed decisions about pricing, promotions, and marketing efforts. Your data-driven approach will help optimize overall performance and allow you to advise relevant teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to implement effective strategies that drive success.
5. CRM Strategy Implementation:
You will implement customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to enhance guest loyalty, personalize offers, and increase repeat bookings. By fostering long-term relationships with guests, you will contribute to the resort's success in retaining customers and ensuring that they return to the resort for future visits.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
You will work closely with the resort's marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all departments. By collaborating on revenue goals and strategies, you will ensure that the entire team is working toward a common objective and driving the success of Oaga Art Resort.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury five-star resort in the Maldives or other high-end travel destinations.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English, allowing you to effectively communicate with team members, guests, and stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's Degree or certification in a relevant field such as hospitality management, business, marketing, or e-commerce.
- Strong customer service skills, with a keen focus on providing the best experience for guests and maximizing their satisfaction.
- Proven ability to forecast, plan, and manage all orders, teams, and events to ensure optimal performance and revenue growth.
- A deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online booking channels.
- Creative thinking and a passion for driving change in a dynamic work environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze market data to make data-driven decisions.
