Available Job Position: Resort Doctor
OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is currently seeking a Resort Doctor to join our health and wellness team. As the Resort Doctor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of both our guests and colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate medical professional to contribute to an extraordinary resort environment while offering your expertise in emergency care, general practice, and overall health management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to guests and colleagues, addressing both emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively, providing first aid and medical treatment as required.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, ensuring a high level of care and professionalism in all interactions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all treatments and consultations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and care.
- Collaborate with other departments within the resort, including guest services and food & beverage, to ensure the health and safety of everyone on-site.
- Conduct health and safety checks for both staff and guests, particularly in areas involving physical activities, wellness, and recreational services.
- Manage and maintain the resort’s medical supplies, ensuring that they are fully stocked and prepared for any situation.
- Provide health advice to guests, offering information on wellness, preventative care, and safe practices while enjoying the resort’s amenities.
- Assist with the resort's overall health and wellness initiatives, working closely with other wellness professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times, maintaining a respectful and caring approach when dealing with medical issues.
Candidate Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, we are seeking a doctor who meets the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a practicing doctor, with a solid background in emergency care and general practice.
- Medical Degree from an accredited institute, with relevant qualifications that meet the Maldives Medical and Dental Council's requirements.
- Proven experience in a resort or hospitality setting will be considered an advantage.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to provide accurate and timely medical assessments.
- Experience in managing medical emergencies calmly and efficiently, demonstrating excellent decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate medical records and manage a medical facility.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin or Russian will be a plus.
- A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all medical matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff, offering compassionate care and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborative nature with a willingness to work as part of a team, assisting other departments as needed.
