Job Title: Pastry Chef

As the Pastry Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exquisite desserts and pastries, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of taste and presentation. You will be responsible for overseeing pastry operations, developing innovative recipes, and maintaining top-tier food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Dessert and Pastry Creation – Craft a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

Recipe Development – Innovate and develop new dessert recipes that align with our resort’s diverse culinary offerings, incorporating local and international flavors.

Inventory Management – Oversee the ordering and stocking of pastry ingredients, ensuring optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste.

Team Leadership & Training – Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry staff, fostering a collaborative and creative kitchen environment that encourages professional growth.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety – Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with international health and safety regulations.

Collaboration with Culinary Team – Work closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen departments to enhance menu offerings and maintain consistency across all dining venues.

Presentation & Creativity – Ensure that all pastries and desserts meet the highest presentation standards, creating visually stunning and delicious treats.

Knowledge of LQA Standards (Preferred) – Understanding and implementing Luxury Quality Assurance (LQA) standards to ensure a superior guest experience.


Qualifications & Requirements:

🔹 Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within luxury resorts or fine-dining establishments.

🔹 Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation in dessert-making.

🔹 Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing a team of pastry professionals.

🔹 Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

🔹 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen while maintaining precision and quality.

🔹 Familiarity with international pastry techniques and trends, with a passion for incorporating local ingredients into innovative creations.

🔹 Knowledge of LQA (Luxury Quality Assurance) standards will be an added advantage.

🔹 Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
