Your Next Career Move: Learning & Development Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role within our resort, ensuring that all team members receive the highest standard of training, development, and career growth opportunities.

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that align with the resort’s vision and service standards. Your role will be key in fostering a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that our employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver the outstanding service that OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy that aligns with the resort’s goals and luxury hospitality standards.
  • Design and implement training programs for new and existing employees, ensuring professional growth and service excellence.
  • Manage and oversee Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to enhance training efficiency.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions on service excellence, leadership development, and operational best practices.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create tailored training solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Maldivian Health & Safety standards in training programs.
  • Partner with department heads to enhance employee performance through targeted coaching and development initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovative training methodologies to continuously improve training strategies.
  • Lead the Luxury Butler Service training program for the resort, ensuring the highest level of personalized service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, measuring impact and implementing improvements.

What We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in Learning & Development within the luxury hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should be passionate about talent development, have excellent communication skills, and be able to motivate and inspire teams.

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
✔ Certification in Training & Development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) is a plus.
✔ Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury resort.
✔ Prior experience with Luxury Butler Service training is an added advantage.
✔ Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
✔ Deep understanding of Maldives Health & Safety training standards.
✔ Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire teams.
✔ Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
✔ Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
✔ A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze training needs and implement effective programs.
✔ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across all departments.
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, ensuring seamless execution of training initiatives.
