Available Position: IT Administrator
Hulhule' Island Hotel is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Administrator to manage and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring that our technology systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably to support seamless hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As the IT Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of all IT systems through regular monitoring and updates.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing efficient solutions to minimize downtime.
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Maintaining data backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborating with different hotel departments to support IT-related needs and optimize system performance.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technological advancements and implementing necessary upgrades.
- Conducting routine system maintenance and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Providing training and technical support to employees to enhance their IT proficiency.
This role is crucial in maintaining smooth hotel operations, ensuring seamless connectivity, and safeguarding the hotel's digital infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for the IT Administrator position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A relevant educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an IT-related position, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members across different departments.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage IT-related tasks independently.
- A proactive approach with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Good operational and interpersonal skills to support hotel staff in IT-related concerns.
- Priority will be given to Maldivian applicants.
