We Are Hiring: Guest Relations Officer – Spanish Speaking

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-sufficient, and service-oriented individual to join our Guest Relations team. As a Guest Relations Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for our Spanish-speaking guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a seamless luxury experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

As a Guest Relations Officer – Spanish Speaking, your daily duties will include:

  • Reviewing guest arrival lists and preparing for personalized greetings.
  • Welcoming and assisting Spanish-speaking guests, ensuring they feel at home from the moment they arrive.
  • Handling guest requests, responding to inquiries, and providing recommendations on resort services, dining, and activities.
  • Assisting with pre-arrival preparations, including preparing welcome materials such as resort maps and information booklets.
  • Promoting resort services and special events, ensuring guests have access to exclusive experiences.
  • Establishing a strong rapport with guests by offering personalized service, addressing concerns, and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient guest service.
  • Handling guest complaints with professionalism and escalating them to the Guest Relations Manager when necessary.
  • Maintaining daily records of guest interactions, feedback, and service requests.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, or customer service (experience in a luxury resort or hotel is an advantage).
  • Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is required, with excellent English communication skills.
  • A professional and polished appearance that reflects the elegance of the resort.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
  • Strong communication skills, with a sophisticated and warm approach to guest interactions.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, to assist with guest documentation.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to delivering outstanding service.
  • Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or resort is a significant advantage.
  • Preference will be given to experienced Spanish nationals who have worked in the hospitality industry.
