Position: Restaurants Hostess (Chinese Speaking)
Sun Siyam Vilu Reef is searching for a highly motivated and customer-focused Restaurants Hostess who can fluently communicate in Chinese and English. As a Restaurants Hostess, you will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide them with personalized attention.
- Assist in seating arrangements, ensuring all reservations are handled efficiently.
- Communicate fluently with Chinese-speaking guests, providing exceptional service.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
- Provide menu recommendations and assist guests in making dining choices.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service etiquette.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to enhance the overall guest experience.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel or resort industry.
- Maldivian Resort Experience: Previous experience in a Maldivian resort is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese and English is mandatory (spoken and written).
- Customer-Oriented Personality: Energetic, outgoing, and dedicated to guest satisfaction.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
- Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
