Chef de Partie – Role & Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the culinary team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently managing food production within your designated station, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Supervising junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high standards.
  • Maintaining exceptional food presentation in line with the resort’s five-star standards.
  • Ensuring hygiene and food safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Collaborating with the executive chef and sous chefs to create innovative and delicious menus.
  • Assisting in inventory management, stock rotation, and cost control for maximum efficiency.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
  • Delivering outstanding guest experiences by adapting to specific requests and dietary requirements.

This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.


Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role at a five-star resort in the Maldives.
Strong knowledge of international and Maldivian cuisine, with expertise in fine dining.
Exceptional culinary skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
Ability to manage a section independently, ensuring smooth operations.
Proficiency in food cost control and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations to maintain impeccable hygiene standards.
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to inspire junior kitchen staff.
Passion for hospitality, creativity, and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences.
