Position: Central Finance Manager
CROSSROADS Maldives is seeking a highly skilled Central Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple entities within the resort. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in financial management, accounting regulations, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple entities within CROSSROADS Maldives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance, providing insights for business growth.
- Manage and optimize financial systems, software, and reporting tools to improve efficiency.
- Lead a multicultural finance team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Work closely with different departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, risk management strategies, and financial optimizations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by handling financial inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a multi-entity establishment such as a resort, hospitality chain, or corporate group.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, international accounting standards, and best practices in financial management.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills to oversee a diverse finance team.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a remote or island-based location is an advantage, as the role requires adaptability to a unique work setting.
