We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team in the following roles:

Guest Relations Officer

As a Guest Relations Officer at Jawakara Islands, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive an exceptional, personalized experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and assisting with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing a warm and friendly service.
  • Addressing and resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest needs are met, from dining to activity bookings.
  • Managing guest feedback, ensuring positive reviews and repeat business.
  • Ensuring that all guest interactions uphold the resort’s values of hospitality, service excellence, and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in guest relations or front desk roles in a luxury resort or hotel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the cleanliness and presentation of the resort’s villas and public areas. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Training, coaching, and supervising housekeeping staff to ensure they follow proper cleaning procedures and maintain consistency.
  • Conducting regular inspections of rooms, villas, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Ordering and managing inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are properly maintained.
  • Providing exceptional attention to detail in ensuring that guests’ rooms meet the highest standards of comfort and luxury.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • An eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle guest requests with professionalism and discretion.

Villa Attendant

The Villa Attendant is responsible for providing personalized service and ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness in the resort’s villas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily cleaning and preparation of guest villas, ensuring they meet the resort’s high cleanliness standards.
  • Replenishing guest amenities and ensuring rooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Responding to guest requests for additional services, including linen changes or housekeeping requirements.
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Assisting with setting up special requests for guests, such as romantic dinners or celebrations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or villa attendants at a resort or hotel is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.

Waiter / Waitress (Maldivian Nationals Only)

We are also looking for Waiters / Waitresses to provide outstanding service at our restaurants and bars. The ideal candidates will:

  • Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages according to the guest's preferences.
  • Ensure that guest needs are met throughout their dining experience, offering suggestions when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring the space is welcoming at all times.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a similar position in a high-end restaurant or resort is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a team-oriented environment.
