As a Boat Crew member at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, safe, and enjoyable boat transfers for both guests and colleagues. From assisting with guest luggage to maintaining safety standards, your contributions will be vital in enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all boat transfer operations to ensure a seamless experience for guests and staff.
- Support the boat captain by handling navigational duties and safety procedures.
- Help with loading and off-loading guest baggage, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers throughout their journey.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on safety equipment and onboard facilities.
- Provide exceptional guest service, displaying warmth, care, and professionalism.
- Adhere to Raffles’ service standards, reflecting the brand’s commitment to luxury and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
✔ Previous experience in a similar role within a top-end luxury island resort.
✔ Ability to work in a remote island environment, adapting to island life.
✔ Strong English communication skills – both spoken and written.
✔ A vocational or formal certification in boat navigation operations.
✔ Knowledge of fire and life safety systems, ensuring emergency preparedness.
✔ A strong team player attitude, with a keen sense of responsibility.
