Key Responsibilities
As a Bartender at Velaa Private Island, you will play an integral role in enhancing the guest experience through expertly crafted beverages and personalized service. Your responsibilities include:
✅ Crafting Exceptional Cocktails – Prepare and serve an extensive range of cocktails, mocktails, and premium beverages using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Maintain consistency in presentation and flavor.
✅ Engaging Guest Interaction – Provide a warm and sophisticated bar experience, engaging with guests in a personalized manner to enhance their stay.
✅ Maintaining High Standards – Adhere to Forbes Travel Guide and Leading Quality Assurance standards, ensuring that every drink and service meets the highest expectations.
✅ Bar Organization & Cleanliness – Keep the bar area immaculate, well-stocked, and efficiently organized at all times. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
✅ Product Knowledge & Recommendations – Demonstrate deep knowledge of spirits, wines, liqueurs, and cocktails. Confidently recommend beverages based on guest preferences.
✅ Multi-Tasking & Efficiency – Work seamlessly in a fast-paced, luxury environment while maintaining precision and professionalism.
✅ Brand Ambassador Role – Represent Velaa Private Island with enthusiasm, ensuring that every guest experiences the highest level of hospitality and service.
Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
🎯 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end five-star luxury hotel or resort. Experience in ultra-luxury settings is preferred.
🎯 Mixology Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and premium spirits. A deep understanding of pairing flavors and creating signature drinks.
🎯 Guest-Focused Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests.
🎯 Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Opera PMS and Micros-Fidelio Materials Control systems is required. Strong computing and office software skills.
🎯 Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English is essential. Additional language skills (such as Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, or European languages) are an advantage.
🎯 Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high level of precision in presentation, cleanliness, and beverage quality.
