We are searching for highly motivated, passionate, and creative individuals to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting unique and memorable beverage experiences that reflect the exceptional quality and standards of JOALI BEING.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.
- Provide guests with an immersive bar experience by offering expert recommendations and engaging in meaningful interactions.
- Maintain a high standard of drink presentation, ensuring consistency in taste, garnishing, and service.
- Keep the bar area organized, clean, and fully stocked at all times.
- Manage inventory levels, track beverage supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
- Uphold hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with Maldivian hospitality standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in mixology, innovative drink recipes, and presentation techniques.
- Assist in organizing special events, cocktail tastings, and themed beverage experiences.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary and wellness teams to incorporate health-conscious beverages into our menu.
- Adapt to guest preferences and dietary requirements, offering personalized drink recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
✅ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury property.
✅ Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with guests from around the world.
✅ Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, garnishing, and presentation techniques.
✅ Outgoing and engaging personality with a professional and polished appearance.
✅ Exceptional attention to detail in drink mixing, ingredient selection, and overall presentation.
✅ Experience working in a remote island environment is highly preferred.
✅ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Adaptability, resilience, and multitasking skills to meet the dynamic needs of luxury hospitality.
