About the Role: Waiter
Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor, the Waiter is responsible for creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. This position calls for a vibrant personality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Table Setup: Prepare dining areas according to the resort’s luxury standards.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their feedback is acknowledged and promptly communicated to supervisors or managers.
- Anticipate Needs: Be attentive and proactive, ensuring all guest needs are met without delay.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Your Skills & Experiences
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within an international luxury brand, ideally in the Maldives.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Dhivehi.
- Knowledge: Expertise in buffet restaurant operations, international beverage offerings, and familiarity with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards.
- Personal Traits: An outgoing personality, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse cultural settings.
- Physical Fitness: Stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with irregular hours.
