Available Job Position: Waiter (F&B Services)
Kuramathi Maldives is looking for a Waiter to join our Food & Beverage (F&B) team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent service in a luxury resort environment. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by delivering outstanding food and beverage service with a warm and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Ensure all guests are greeted warmly and receive personalized attention throughout their dining experience.
- Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu items, including daily specials, and be able to make recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
- Order Taking & Serving: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring that all special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Upkeep of Dining Area: Ensure that all tables are set to the highest standards before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area throughout service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that orders are delivered to guests accurately and promptly. Assist colleagues as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the dining experience.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or related fields will be considered an advantage.
- Experience: Previous experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably within a luxury resort or hotel, is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to handle guests’ requests and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Grooming & Attitude: Professional grooming standards and a positive, friendly attitude are essential.
- Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to continuously learn and grow in your role while delivering high-quality service.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the resort.
