Job Opportunity: Storekeeper
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our Stores Department. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Storekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the receipt and issuance of stock items in accordance with GRNs and MRNs
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure the timely replenishment of essential items.
- Identifying items nearing expiration and notifying Heads of Departments to optimize usage and minimize waste.
- Ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of storage areas, adhering to HACCP and other standard protocols.
- Conducting month-end stock-taking with the Cost Control team and addressing any variances as directed by the Chief Accountant/Stores Manager.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by your Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements for the Role
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position at a five-star resort.
- A hardworking attitude, positive mindset, and pleasant personality.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work extended hours when required, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
