About the Role: Senior Spa Therapist
The Senior Spa Therapist position at W Maldives is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to redefine relaxation and well-being for our guests. As a Senior Spa Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional spa experiences while mentoring and motivating the spa team. Your ability to connect with guests, understand their needs, and provide personalized treatments will contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and success of our spa services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and confirm guests’ names and scheduled treatments before starting the session.
- Provide high-quality spa and salon treatments adhering to company standards.
- Monitor the daily schedule to ensure timely services.
- Promote and sell spa and salon services, as well as retail products.
- Conduct inspections to ensure all work areas, tools, and equipment meet company standards.
- Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching spa team members.
- Develop and implement quality improvement or corrective action plans.
- Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold confidentiality.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Uphold the Whatever/Whenever® culture by delivering services with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: At least two years of related experience in a luxury hospitality or spa setting.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
