Requirements for the Role:

Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury resort environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing high-end guest experiences.

Guest Service Excellence: A deep understanding of guest service excellence and the ability to deliver personalized experiences to every guest. The successful candidate must be committed to maintaining the highest standards of luxury service.

Operational Expertise: The Rooms Division Manager should possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Rooms Division operations, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. The ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and stakeholders is key to success in this role.

Property Management Knowledge: Proficiency in property management systems and a strong understanding of revenue and yield management principles to optimize room sales and profitability.

Physical Capability: Although this is a managerial position, the candidate should be capable of occasionally inspecting rooms and managing guest needs that require physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division, ensuring smooth coordination between the front office, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Manage and monitor guest service standards, ensuring that SO/ Maldives exceeds guest expectations at all times.
- Work closely with other departments, such as food and beverage, spa, and activities, to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize room occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and mentor the Rooms Division team, ensuring that all staff members adhere to the resort’s luxury service standards.
