About the Role: Reservations Agent
As a Reservations Agent, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience from the very first interaction. Your role will require attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and upsell resort products and services.
Your Experience and Skills Include
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury island resort is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to remote island life and work in a serene yet challenging environment.
- Detail-oriented and motivated to complete tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette with strong sales and upselling abilities.
- Proficiency in Opera, PMS, or similar reservation software.
- Strong communication skills, with multilingual proficiency being a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing bulk bookings for arrivals and departures and requesting domestic flights for new or additional reservations.
- Promoting and selling resort products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Adhering to LQA Mystery Shopping standards to maintain consistent and exceptional guest service.
- Preparing and sharing daily pickup reports with department heads.
- Ensuring timely cancellation of tickets to avoid penalties.
- Coordinating with the Finance team to reconcile guest tickets at the end of each month.
- Implementing up-selling techniques to boost reservation sales and increase conversion rates.
- Efficiently multitasking to manage reservations while maintaining high standards of service.
