Current Job Vacancy: Quality Assurance Executive
About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the QA team by assisting with audits, collecting guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Your efforts will directly impact the resort's guest satisfaction and overall performance, helping to maintain Velassaru’s reputation as one of the premier luxury resorts in the Maldives.
The Quality Assurance Executive is crucial in monitoring service excellence, compliance with safety standards, and supporting sustainability initiatives. You will work closely with the resort's leadership to ensure that every guest experience meets the highest standards of quality. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service Audits: Assist in conducting guest service audits to ensure compliance with resort standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) requirements.
- Guest Feedback: Support the collection and analysis of guest feedback from platforms like TripAdvisor, Agoda, and Booking.com to identify areas for improvement and enhance guest experiences.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Assist in monitoring the resort's sustainability compliance with corporate sustainability guidelines.
- Food Safety: Lead monthly HACCP/Food Safety Meetings and support team training on food safety practices and health and safety protocols.
- Health & Safety Documentation: Help document health and safety incidents and participate in the investigation process to determine corrective actions.
- Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor the progress of action plans and ensure adherence to timelines and objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hospitality environment is required; experience in quality, guest satisfaction, or auditing-related fields is a plus.
- A diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- A professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Opera System.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and health & safety standards is advantageous.
