Position Available: Painter
If you are a creative, skilled, and hardworking individual with a passion for painting and resort maintenance, this could be the perfect job for you. The Painter role at Kurumba Maldives will have you playing an essential part in ensuring the aesthetic beauty of the resort. You’ll work closely with the Engineering Supervisor to maintain and enhance the property’s stunning appearance, contributing to a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Engineering Supervisor and perform all painting duties across the resort.
- Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to surfaces including walls, doors, cabinets, and floors.
- Prepare and clean surfaces, including scraping, sanding, priming, or sealing to ensure proper paint adherence.
- Estimate the amount of materials needed and calculate the cost for projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of tools and materials.
- Assist other sections of the engineering department in daily operations and tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar position.
- Skills: Strong communication skills in Dhivehi or English.
- Work Environment: Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic resort environment.
- Additional: Previous experience in the Maldives is preferred, but not required.
