Your Role as Legal Counsel
In this position, you will ensure that the company operates within the bounds of the law and maintains the highest standards of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts, internal policies, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough research to provide timely and accurate legal advice.
- Prepare essential legal documents for court proceedings.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to address legal concerns and risks.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about legal excellence and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- A license to practice law in the Maldives.
- At least 7 years of experience in the legal field.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents in both English and Dhivehi.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dhivehi.
- In-depth knowledge of the Maldivian legal system.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
