About the Role
As a Kids Club Attendant, you will be at the heart of creating fun and engaging experiences for children of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and lead various kids’ club activities, both indoor and outdoor, while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the club, creating a fun atmosphere, and making sure every child enjoys their time at the club.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Organization: You will plan and organize fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor excursions. You will also organize themed events and birthday parties for our young guests.
- Safety Supervision: Ensuring the safety of all children in your care is a top priority. You will supervise all activities and maintain a safe, child-friendly environment at all times.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining and organizing all kids’ club equipment. Ensuring that all materials are clean, in good condition, and well-stocked.
- Club Maintenance: Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the Kids Club is a key task, maintaining a welcoming environment for children and their families.
- Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service to parents and children, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience. Strong communication skills in English are essential to provide clear instructions and guidance.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the broader resort team to support other areas when needed and maintain an integrated approach to guest services.
Requirements
- Maldivian Nationality: This position is open to Maldivian nationals only.
- Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in organizing and leading activities for children is a plus.
- Experience in customer service or childcare is highly valued.
- A vibrant, friendly, and cheerful personality is essential, as you will be the face of the Kids Club.
- Strong communication skills in English are required, with the ability to engage children effectively.
- Certifications: A certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred to ensure the safety and well-being of the children under your care.
- Physical & Emotional Strength: You should be energetic and ready to engage in both indoor and outdoor activities. The role demands someone who is patient, caring, and willing to go above and beyond to make children feel at home.
