Position Overview: IT Executive
As an IT Executive at JA Manafaru, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the resort’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting the IT Manager and Senior System Administrator in executing IT strategies, managing projects, and resolving any technical issues to ensure the resort's technology remains secure and efficient. Key Responsibilities
- IT System Management: Assist in managing the resort's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud technologies, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Project Implementation: Support IT projects, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- IT Security & Data Protection: Implement security measures to protect the resort’s technology systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Proactively resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT Manager and other departments to address technology needs, while maintaining a proactive, can-do attitude.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in IT management or a similar role, with a proven track record in handling IT infrastructure and technology projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in IT systems, networks, servers, cloud technologies, and applications.
- IT Security: Experience in IT security and data protection principles, ensuring the protection of sensitive resort and guest information.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Proactive & Motivated: A self-motivated individual who demonstrates accountability, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Team Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a team while contributing to the success of IT operations.
