Current Opportunity: Gardener
Are you passionate about nature and landscaping? Velassaru Maldives is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department. This role is vital in maintaining the lush, tropical beauty of the resort and ensuring a harmonious environment for guests to enjoy.
Responsibilities
As a Gardener, your duties will include:
- Maintaining immaculate cleaning and gardening standards throughout all areas of the resort.
- Assisting in the implementation of sustainable gardening practices to align with our commitment to eco-conscious luxury.
- Monitoring and replenishing stock levels of materials, equipment, and general supplies, ensuring timely requisitions as needed.
- Supporting other maintenance tasks as required.
- Performing additional duties as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A hardworking individual with a positive attitude and a pleasant personality.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position within a five-star resort setting.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
