Current Job Opening: Executive Housekeeper
As part of the world-renowned Soneva Fushi Resort, we are looking for a Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department with dedication and passion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient operation and high standards of cleanliness in all areas.
- Oversee the training and development of staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure exceptional service.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for new and existing housekeeping staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain high guest satisfaction levels through excellent service.
- Ensure all housekeeping operations meet and exceed the expectations of guests, while maintaining sustainability practices in line with Soneva's eco-friendly policies.
- Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are always sufficient.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a housekeeping management role within luxury hotels or resorts.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Training & Development: Ability to create and deliver effective training programs for the housekeeping team.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Passion: A passion for the hospitality industry, with a focus on new trends and continuous improvement.
