Position: Commis

OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Commis to join their esteemed culinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes in line with the resort’s high culinary standards.
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared with the utmost care and meet quality guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

General Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this exciting opportunity:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar position at a five-star resort in the Maldives.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Personality Traits: Pleasant, energetic, and enthusiastic about working in shifts.
  • Work Ethic: Detailed-oriented, organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to flexible working hours; hands-on, patient, and service-oriented.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
