Current Job Opportunity: Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Maintenance Department. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry tasks, from maintaining the resort's iconic wooden structures to crafting bespoke wooden features that enhance the guest experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute carpentry job orders effectively and efficiently, adhering to high standards.
- Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and renewal of wooden walls, deck flooring, and wooden furniture.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Assist in related masonry tasks when required (skills in masonry are an added advantage).
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintain excellent grooming and hygiene standards, ensuring personal grooming and uniform presentation align with resort guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated professional who meets the following criteria:
- Hardworking with a positive attitude and a pleasant personality.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Flexible to work extended hours when necessary.
- Masonry skills are highly desirable but not mandatory.
