Position Overview
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is currently looking for a qualified and dedicated Assistant Storekeeper to join their team. The Assistant Storekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining efficient resort operations by overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment across the resort. This includes ensuring inventory accuracy, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage conditions for all items, which is crucial for supporting various departments, including Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Spa services.
As an Assistant Storekeeper, you will ensure that all supplies and materials are readily available to support the daily operations of the resort. You'll be working closely with other departments to track and manage inventory, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. A key part of the role is ensuring that the resort’s supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the resort’s overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Storekeeper at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries: Ensure all items are received accurately and in good condition, carefully documenting deliveries.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks to avoid both shortages and overstocking. Ensure all records are updated and available for audits.
- Proper Storage Conditions: Ensure that all supplies are stored correctly, including maintaining the required temperatures and cleanliness.
- Waste Minimization: Monitor supplies to reduce waste, spoilage, and damage, ensuring maximum efficiency in inventory management.
- Material Issuance: Issue materials and supplies to departments based on approved requests, ensuring accurate and timely distribution.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports for management, providing insights into inventory levels and identifying any concerns.
