About the Assistant Spa Manager Position
As the Assistant Spa Manager at Sun Siyam Iru Veli, you will be a vital part of the resort’s wellness team, helping to create an unforgettable spa experience for our guests. You will support the Spa Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining a serene and welcoming environment for guests. You will also have the chance to work closely with a team of talented therapists and wellness professionals in a beautiful setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of the spa operation, including treatments, guest services, and staff performance.
- Ensure that all spa treatments, such as massage, facials, and body treatments, meet the highest standards of service.
- Oversee the daily scheduling of treatments and ensure that the spa is adequately staffed at all times.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing personalized services and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist in the training and development of spa therapists to ensure they are knowledgeable about current trends and treatments.
- Monitor inventory levels for spa products and supplies, ensuring proper stock management.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the spa area, creating a peaceful and professional atmosphere for guests.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure the spa runs efficiently, meets revenue targets, and remains compliant with health and safety regulations.
Requirements for the Position
- Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or spa setting is preferred.
- Wellness Knowledge: Familiarity with various treatments offered in a spa, including massage, facials, body treatments, and wellness services.
- Yoga Certification: Certification in yoga teaching or previous experience leading yoga classes is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact with guests and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Teamwork: Must be a team player with a positive "Can-do" attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
