Position: Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Location: Atmosphere Kanifushi Resort, Maldives
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, villas, and public areas within the resort.
- Manage a team of housekeepers and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain stock levels of housekeeping supplies, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests.
- Ensure that the housekeeping team adheres to safety standards and follows proper protocols for guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programs for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of the resort’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role in a five-star property, preferably in the Maldives (experience in the Maldives will be an added advantage).
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, and long hours.
- Proficient in Opera, PMS, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and guest service.
- A positive, vibrant, and approachable personality, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
