Position: Artist - Art Studio
Key Competencies & Responsibilities:
Seaside Finolhu is seeking an Artist to join their Art Studio. As part of the creative team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable experiences to resort guests through art. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks designed to enhance the guest experience and create a vibrant atmosphere within the resort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience and Skills: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is required. Proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting, is essential.
- Guest Engagement: You will actively engage with resort guests, conducting workshops, demonstrations, and art-related activities tailored to both children and adults. Your ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming, creative environment is key to success in this role.
- Promoting Art Activities: You will be responsible for promoting art-related events and upselling Art Studio activities to guests, enhancing their overall resort experience.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the Art Studio Supervisor, you will assist with special events and projects within the Recreation Department. Your input and creative ideas will help drive the resort’s artistic direction.
- Inventory Management: You will manage and maintain all art materials, ensuring that the Art Studio is fully stocked and that all resources are in excellent condition.
- Artistic Excellence: Your work will be guided by the resort’s aesthetic and quality standards, ensuring that every piece of artwork and activity meets the high expectations set by Seaside Finolhu.
- Professionalism: You will interact professionally with guests, demonstrating your expertise in art while offering guidance and support as needed.
- Team Support: In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be expected to support the broader Recreation Department as needed, contributing to the overall success of the resort’s activities and events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar artistic role, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of artistic techniques and materials.
- Passion for art and a genuine interest in sharing creative skills with others.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets while showing initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Enthusiasm for providing top-notch service and memorable guest experiences.
