Current Opportunity: Quality Assurance Executive
Velassaru Maldives is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing the resort’s exceptional standards. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for quality, guest satisfaction, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct guest service audits to ensure compliance with resort standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) requirements.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback from platforms like TripAdvisor, Agoda, and Booking.com to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the resort’s sustainability initiatives by monitoring compliance with corporate sustainability guidelines.
- Lead monthly HACCP/Food Safety Meetings.
- Train team members on food safety practices, health and safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Document health and safety incidents and participate in investigations to identify corrective actions.
- Monitor progress on action plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality is essential, with quality, guest satisfaction, or auditing-related roles being an advantage.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Opera System.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and health & safety standards is advantageous.
