Current Job Opening: IT Officer
As an IT Officer at DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the Information Technology department. Your duties will include maintaining the hotel’s computer systems, managing both front-of-house and back-office software, ensuring data protection, and training staff on technology tools. You’ll play a key role in making sure that our guests and colleagues have seamless access to the technology and systems they need to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and computer systems across the hotel.
- Handle software programs used in both guest-facing and back-office operations.
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance for personal computers and main hotel systems.
- Ensure data protection and efficient data storage across the resort.
- Provide training to hotel staff on the use of technology tools and systems.
- Work with different departments to ensure technology enhances guest experience and operational efficiency.
Candidate Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of IT support experience in medium to large organizations is essential.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable, especially with systems such as Fidelio, Opera, Micros, and PC/LAN.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
