Job Opening: Finance Executive (AP)
Your Experience and Skills Include:
- Previous Experience: At least 1-2 years in a similar function in a top-tier luxury island resort.
- High-Pressure Environment: Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Sun System, OPERA, and Fusion system. Strong numerical and computer skills.
- Organized and Methodical: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Proficiency in both Dhivehi and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Methodical and logical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Financial Auditing: Examine transactions for accuracy, ensuring that trial balances tally correctly.
- Record Management: Maintain proper filing and record retention, adhering to hotel finance policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly financial reports for management, ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
- Transaction Audits: Audit financial transactions for consistency, techniques, and methods used in line with hotel standards and local regulations.
